We follow a structured six-step recruitment process for every vacancy. It starts with a detailed brief where we take the time to understand your role requirements, team dynamics, and company culture. From there, our consultants search our active database of pre-screened candidates and create a tailored shortlist using over 25 years of combined recruitment experience. Every candidate is assessed for skills, availability, and cultural fit before being put forward. You receive full candidate profiles, arrange interviews on a schedule that works for you, and we manage the entire offer process through to start date.
Q2: What sectors do you recruit for?
First 4 Recruitment is a multi-sector specialist covering industrial, logistics, construction, and commercial roles. We also provide fulfilment staffing for high-volume operations and on-site managed services for clients who need a dedicated recruitment presence within their facility. This breadth means we understand the crossover between sectors and can source candidates with transferable skills that a single-sector agency might overlook.
Q3: Do you supply temporary, permanent, or contract workers?
We supply all three. Whether you need temporary staff to cover a seasonal peak, contract workers for a specific project, or permanent hires to grow your team, we tailor our service to match. For temporary and contract placements, we handle all payroll, compliance, and right-to-work checks. For permanent roles, we manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing through to offer acceptance and onboarding support.
Q4: How quickly can you supply staff?
For temporary and industrial roles, we can often supply candidates within 24 to 48 hours thanks to our pool of pre-registered, compliance-checked workers. For permanent and specialist positions, we typically deliver a first shortlist within one week of receiving your brief. Timelines depend on the role, but our 24/7 service means we can respond to urgent requirements outside standard working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
Q5: What support do you provide after a placement is made?
Every placement includes ongoing aftercare for both the client and the candidate. We carry out regular check-ins to make sure the role is working for both sides, and we help with any issues that come up, from timesheet queries to employment questions. This continuous support reduces dropout rates and gives you a single point of contact if anything needs adjusting. For on-site managed services, your dedicated First 4 representative is embedded in your operation full time.
